Wow that was a year ago! I recall being pissed about the whole fridged Altean lady, Haggar is not the mom thing that was going on, and the accusations that Haggar being Lotor’s mom would be sexist, which was why I made the post showcasing it’s the opposite. Still proud of it till this day so this is really humbling ❤ Thank you 

Are you taking bets on whether or not Honerva resurrects her fam?

Sure am! But to me it’s not so much resurrection as meeting Obi-Wan Zarkon, who might actually be the one to attempt to talk sense into her. He’ll fail if that is the case of course but it would be interesting. Zarkon returning in the second act was to further the arc of Haggar and Lotor, so now it seems like both Zarkon and Lotor will be used to further her arc. Her family means a lot to her, but she has always been an ambitious person. She is now cleansed of the rift affect yet as Honerva, she still shows a very vicious and apathetic side. It’s like Shiro said, the quintessence didn’t fully turn her evil, it just revealed what she can be capable of. 

When Zarkon died his beyard changed back into its original form. My crack theory is that he is in the astral realm, or at least somewhere between hell and the current world. Plenty of time for karmic contemplation. What I suspect is that Zarkon might still have at least one thing to do to further her arc, since they have been intertwined from the start. While Honerva now has further healing abilities thanks to Oriande it is possible to revive them both, and she was a necromancer even before that. I’m at a 50/50 stage at the moment at least. 

A Witch’s Plea for Help

Though I’m making light of my situation, I need help. I mean yes mentally but more so financially at the moment. My only reliable transportation has now been getting fixed for the past four days. I owe the mechanic $1200 for my car and that is not including my med bills for my suicide stunt or food. Not to mention I have sold everything (my drawing tablet, ps4, and ds) besides my laptop in the past in order to eat / pay bills / car trouble in the past.  PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE reblog this if you can and everything counts. Even 25 cents will help. I will thank every single one of you that donate. I’d draw for you guys but like I said, I haven’t had digital art accessibility since May. I need help more than ever right now and before I get any of these questions, I am a 20 year old college student that works full time and no my family is not helping me out besides my mother who has already done so much. Please boost if you can, it would be much appreciated. Maybe finally in the future I’ll be able to afford to do digital art again.

Is there a pattern to the gif of the day thing? And do you take requests for scenes?

The gif of the day dedication is based on what people leave in the tags. For example hyena-frog showed great love for Narti on previous gifs, meimportaunquiznak mentioned loving the purple aesthetic, and violin-cat encouraged me to make more aesthetic Haggar gifs, wireandrewired showed much love for Haggar in general, etc. 

It’s my way of showing appreciation and that in spite of me not following basically anyone, I still read the tags and care for their opinions and fandom presence. With all the wankery that has been going down since s6 I thought it would be nice, plus it’s helping me practice making gifs and improve little by little. 

For requests? Hmm not sure still, because the gifs I want to make are of scenes and characters I find very underrated. Mostly Galra aesthetic outside of Lotor Ezor and Acxa, since those three get the most gifs, but i think I have at least one gif of each of them on scenes I find underrated. Who they are dedicated to is very obvious since it fits the URLs. Things I also wanna gif is the mecha fights because they’re beautiful, as well as that scene of yellow taking the last shred of the castle. The most obvious default gif choice is of course Haggar because I find the lack of gifs of her to be downright criminal. 

There ARE gifs dedicated to anons tho, based on what I gathered from some of you. However if you show a love for certain characters or scenes those might be done as well!
