Episode 1 – ‘Omega Shield’ – The season starts off pretty much immediately where last season left off. Lotor and Voltron are working side-by-side to hold together the Galra Empire against many other Galra factions, the largest led by Sendak. While we don’t get any backstory for him, this episode focuses very heavily on developing Hunk, something many fans have been asking for. Hunk definitely proves his value and his abilities in this episode. The episode ends with a surprise about Haggar.
Episode 2 – ‘Razor’s Edge’ – As a big Keith fan, this is probably my favorite episode of the season. Keith and Krolia are on a mission to find some special quintessence, and this episode focuses almost solely on them and their mission. There is some weird time stuff going on, so we get a bunch of flashbacks that fill in the pieces about Krolia, Keith’s dad, and baby Keith, but we also get a few glimpses into the future. … At the end of their journey, Keith and Krolia find something they certainly would never have expected.
Episode 3 – ‘Monsters & Mana’ – This is the episode people have been referring to as the D&D episode. This … is a great team-building episode, and the big bad guy of the episode says something to Shiro that may give us a hint about something else.
So from the recap in GeekDad we can conclude many things that happen by the end of the season. Beware, major spoilers. Mostly will focus on the villains here
The first episode has Hunk avert a major disaster and learning the culture of the Galra. A surprise about Haggar is revealed by the end of it.
Haggar and Lotor have their confrontation by the end of episode 4, where she and the generals will show up. Krolia and Keith return to tell the team a major shocking revelation they learned. Implied that they’ll stop Allura and Lotor from going into the rift.
A revelation about the black lion will happen
Haggar and Lotor will finally confront each other, as well as potentially allying up again with the generals
The Sincline ships will be reunited and most likely form
S6 is around the corner and now with the trailer drop, we’ve got some info as to what it contains – one of which appears to be the fact that Lotor appears to have finished the final comet ship –
the head of sincline. But as the title of this theory post implies, the arrival of the head, I think, is not meant to be a good sign.
Cause looking at the design, I initially thought it looked odd to say the least. Called it whale looking cause of its “fins”. But if I’m honest with myself, the ship doesn’t look like a whale. No, it resembles more like the protist giardia lamblia – a microscopic intestinal parasite.

Anon, consider with me a moment a Haggar that initially remembers.
Consider their shared joy when they learn Lotor survived the rift as well, those moments together.
Really, the only different thing about them is that clawing, burning need to take revenge against the people who wronged their own—who left them homeless and drifting among the stars.
We all know they got their revenge.
So what does that darkness do now, without another direction?
It becomes hunger, and their eyes turn to the stars as they’re devoured from the inside.
Over the centuries of lab accidents and quintessence treatments, Lotor loses his parents a little more with every infusion, every conquered planet.
Haggar has the least of herself left when rescued by the rift, so her memory is eaten away like salt in the sea—still there, but intangible.
Zarkon’s memory is far stronger, and he stays close to their son the longest. For him, it’s a particular gentle nature that’s scrubbed away, broken down more and more after each treatment.
When Lotor finally lost him, who else could he blame but the witch?

So really, anon, I feel it’s a bit more complicated than Haggar waking up with amnesia.
I think the royal fam has a sadder story to tell.
To me, Lotor and Zarkon’s conflict reeked of a broken “you used to be different” that there used to be some element of trust and affection there, Zarkon was just so gone by the end that none of it mattered to the monster that remained.
More theories than predictions, some crack, some serious.
I theorised about Haggar corrupting Oriande, since her morbid dark version of a life giver and exposure to the rift gives her potential of being worthy, as well as her slightly resembling the Oracles. Long haired women in dresses and potentially bare footed.
I theorised about Acxa being the head of Sincline and Lotor as the leg but I think that’s more of season 7
What I feel confident in predicting is Krolia NOT dying. I frankly don’t see where this fear of her being fridged is coming from. Voltron doesn’t fridge, Haggar being Lotor’s mother instead of a killed off slave is prime example.
I theorised much like you about Narti coming back, I personally have a feeling Haggar grabbed her body in black site and the girls will be tasked to retrieve her as well.
I theorised that Acxa was in love with Narti due to that smile she had when she was mentioned. Or in general I suspect Acxa is a lesbian and is one of the coming LGBT representation.
Crack here, I think Lotor would be the maiden in DnD episode. I also think his obsessiveness with the rift will lead him down a slippery slope that he’d need to be saved from.
Lotor is afraid of the mice
I also like the idea of Zethrid and Ezor developing an odd friendship with Haggar due to shared sadism. Or at least she gives them territory.
I suspect that Lotor’s attempt to go into the rift with Allura will fail, resulting in him lashing out on her, big time. And then going into the rift alone in the legs after all. Could be that Haggar’s link to the creatures is what ends up saving him? Because I do suspect they’ll be back on the same side eventually.
I loosely think Sendak is still working under Haggar’s influence, creating a distraction from her, and that he really meant that threat to Lotor in the Kral Zera. It could be he does end up capturing him and offering him to Haggar. Again, one of the scenarios of how he might fall back into her arms.
I suspect flashback showing that Haggar was a suffocating mother figure in Lotor’s life even without her memory and that’s why he hates the idea of her controlling him or anyone. Major control freak, utter helicopter mom all his life. Some emotional blackmail.
I also theorised about Haggar using Shiro to gaslight Lotor and keeping him in line, as well as make the paladins suspect Lotor is betraying them. I think that’s about most of it?
In the end, to quote Ezor: “All of Lotor’s plans fail” and i think that’s foreshadowing to that rift situation.
Everyone who saw s6: you’re not ready, it’s gonna break you, it’ll put you through hell, a big storm is coming, you won’t see it coming, it’s gonna be hard
Did the fandom ever come to name the three Galra we briefly see in the Naxzela episode?
Taking matters into my own hands.
From left to right: Nezria, Vhix, and Mog.
I’d be lying if I said they’re not my favs among the Galra. XD Them and the two Galra guards who were chasing around the Garrison trio and the Fun Sentry. Oh, wait, they need names too. Ahhhh! XD
