Saying stuff like “you are causing me to self harm” or “you’re giving me a massive panic attack/triggering my trauma now i’m cutting myself because of you” is emotional manipulation 101 and I’m getting real sick of how common this tactic is on tumblr and twitter especially in regards to fandom and controlling the shipping preferences of someone. It’s messed up, cut it out. Harsh as it is to say if you’re not stable enough to handle what could be on the internet you shouldn’t be on it unsupervised especially super young preteens. Randos on the internet are not personally responsible for your mental well-being, all they have to do is tag and mark their explicit content. Seeking out such content is not their fault. They feel for you and don’t want anyone getting hurt, but they are not personally responsible for you.

Can we talk bout this little exchange that was on the poster for this past SDCC? Like this is a very specific detail with Honerva holding a baby Allura while just being uncomfortable while Melenor laughs at Honerva’s discomfort. Just, the way Melenor is so casual around her, just look at that relaxed posture and all, tells me that Melenor is just that comfortable and open around Honerva. Which leads me to the conclusion that they were, at some point, friends. I wouldn’t even be surprised if Melenor was the one to introduce Honerva to Alfor.

And like, the show does introduce Melenor back in s3ep7. We know her name, while Keith’s dad is never given one. She seems to be playing a role next season, in a flashback of sorts of course. Heck, in that one Q & A session a while back the creators did confirm that we’re getting Paladins of Old flashbacks next season. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re from Honerva’s perspective and they’ll give focus to the bond that Honerva and Melenor once had before all the shit went down. It’ll definitely show another side to Haggar we’ve yet to have seen on the show.
