Ezor – taunting
I edited old gifs with ugly watermarks to be better now (can be found here), tagged all of my stuff as gif, separated the mecha fights into their own tag, and will be going back to uploading daily gifs via queue again. For those who are new I have a silence blog just for pretty gifs of animation without my darn opinions. I turned anon back on again if anyone feels there are things or character moments that are overlooked by fandom, especially giant robot action.

Haggar: its cute but let me show you how its done
Twice now we saw Haggar chasing after her family right before she lost them for good. When Zarkon was revived he was an empty shell, and with Lotor we know now that he planned on killing Zarkon that day to gain the trust of the paladins so he was already lost to her, determined to kill both his parents by then. She lost them mentally and emotionally before their ultimate demise when they walked past her/away from her.
The music that plays during Haggar’s softer/sympathetic moments is interesting to me. It always plays when it’s about her identity, and the melancholy to them are not just chilling, but downright haunting. There’s also the fact that the music then shifts back into threatening and serious moments later. This cue from the music is telling us this character is tragic, and sympathetic, but never forget how terrifying she is. It really is fascinating to see fan reactions to all of these scenes, because everyone sights them as being incredibly heavy, which they are. They carry a lot of weight every single time, and the music adds that extra drop in the viewer’s gut when these scenes start. It really makes you wonder where the character is heading for the final arc of the show.
The piece I did for the Zaggar zine earlier this year. Had a lot of fun making it. Went for for a rather minimalist coloring style.

I really wanna put out more Haggar gifs again but then I won’t have anything left for Haggar week in October. After that it’s me going out of control with Haggar gifs especially if she does get the final mecha fight because if you haven’t noticed, the easiest way to please me is by either Haggar or awesome sexy mecha, so combine both and you can hear me busting a nut all the way from here.
You know what fuck it I’ll try to weasel my way through it I’m having a serious Haggar withdrawl on my blog again.
