There is a way Keith can achieve the noble alien blood status. Kolivan turns out to be grandpa and gets to become the new emperor. Boom. All tropes nailed.

I’d love some Emperor Kolivan, but since “empires are always evil” I’m guessing that the empire will be dissolved by the end of the series, and I get the sense that the BoM isn’t into emperors any more given how they tried to bomb Kral Zera.

Buuut, Dayak said that there were many warring races on Daibazaal, so I was thinking that Kolivan might be descended from another race that got absorbed into the Galra, especially since the BoM has got those mystic blades made from a rare material which in fantasy settings usually goes hand-in-hand with Long Lost Ancient Civilizations That Somehow Have a Noble Bloodline Intact. They still count as Galra, but get that noble lineage thing going on without having to go through Zarkon.

If Keith ends up with Kolivan as a grandpa AND gets noble alien lineage out of it then I’ll probably have a stroke from laughing so hard.
