Ok I need to hear that headcanon about Sendak and unrequited love bcs MOOD. Terrible people with terrible love and also since I started looking bit at Lodak now I got idea of Sendak wanting to screw Lotor because of his resemblance to mother (assuming its popular gossip among Galras).

Sendak going after Lotor due to his resemblance to Haggar is the basis of all of my HCs anon I love your way of thinking. Have you noticed that not once has Sendak ever called Haggar witch? We never even heard how he refers to her. Wether the informal Haggar or high priestess speak volumes, but is there anything denying that he wouldn’t use my lady to speak to her? We know Sendak is a smart guy we have seen it in season 1, yet he did not defend himself with the accusations about being Haggar’s puppet.

Sendak is shockingly loyal to her. His lord is dead you would think he wouldn’t care but he took the chance with her. It can be argued that he took the chance to work with her out of pure pragmatic thinking but I didn’t get that impression at all, especially when Lotor yelled at him. Lotor’s line of “so loyal, so brave, and yet so stupid” really made it seem like Lotor once respected those traits in him, and Lotor is telling us that Sendak is incredibly loyal to Haggar still.

Even when Haggar abandoned him he didn’t care, he expected her to act like that. I already spoke about one noble demon but while Acxa is more like a knight, Sendak is a proud warrior tied to his duty to the empire. To him, Haggar is still very much a basis for the empire. Also something that both Acxa and Sendak have in common is that they never called Haggar witch.

So of course me being trash I take Sendak’s way of acting in the Kral Zera as someone who has been pining for Haggar for over 10k years. Think about it, she doubted him in season 1, but when he saw Shiro’s arm he was amused by the work of the Druids. I already discussed Haggar and being a morbid life giver, and add in Sendak’s loyalty and you would expect him to feel tied to her due to the modifications she granted him. His arm and eye, and a new update at that.

Sendak once told Haxus that the biggest weakness is the care for others, and I’m inclined to believe it’s a jab at himself and not just the paladins. Also interesting is that Sendak told the paladins to surrender or he will destroy the planet. Lotor then pulls the surrender now or you will be destroyed. Almost as if Sendak was a mentor.

Hmmm now that would ensure throne remains in family in case Zarkon dies-one sibling properly trained as soldier, other married to strongest warrior ,and used as indicator of Emperor’s good grace (unless you are proposing that he could already be engaged? Sorry my english is rusty). And yes, you are right- its refreshign to see that tropes used in such way, and ironic-now only thing we need is him getting pursued by one new villain and ”I have you now my pretty” situation.

I meant it in the he was probably engaged sort of way but the second scenario applies as well. Thing is anon, we already did get that suggestion of yours.

This happened.

With the way they act Lotor might as well have been engaged to Sendak by his parents and Lotor refused. Thus spite.
