I love this scene.

I really love how aggressive and personal this fight was for the paladins. Look at them, this is the most bloodthirsty they have ever been! With the culmination of that hyper speed fight and the beautiful movements of the robots and the music as well, it made US fall into that aggressive energy. If Allura did not stop them, they would have torn themselves apart fighting as well. It shows how terrifying the quintessence field is. Anyone, absolutely anyone can be affected, and be so high on the power that they can destroy themselves. I will never shut up about this sequence it had become my favourite fight of the entire show.

Thanks to @vld-news for these images and the production code, figuring out the screenshots from the final episode. Notice that we see all the Paladins except the black lion. There are the arms in one intense shot and the legs looking badass in the other. But they didn’t show the head. It’s a possibility of course but I do wonder who they’re fighting that could cause such intensity. It’s not a normal Galra fleet that’s for sure.
