Best thing to do is just enjoy the show and not involve whatsoever with the fandom. Maybe there’s a separate tag for edits and gifs, I’ll let you guys know if there is, since I personally wanna reblog a lot of it since pretty Studio Mir. 

I knew the minute I saw it that antis would latch on to it since it’s what they want all media to be, cute fluffy and no huge stakes and risks. Thankfully it blew up in their faces but thankfully not much drama so far. Also I laugh at that villain thing cuz the villain is utterly harmless. It’s a cute show, if you just ignore the slang and forced use of memes.

Throk isn’t ‘standart height’, he’s tall. Same height as Sendak or higher. Thace and Haxus could be considered of average height as well as most of soldiers. Throk is at least one head taller than Thace that means he’s probably 1,5 -2 heads taller than Lotor. So compared to Keith for example, Lotor will be taller for sure

Well yeah he has to be taller than humans, they’re tiny little things in general. I often considered Thace to be shorter than average, with Sendak and Throk being the average height. It’s clear that you spent a lot of time working out Galra heights so I can tell you’re super annoyed with me saying that so no hard feelings mate ❤ Even then I suppose Lotor and most of his generals are slightly shorter than average, with bara babe meeting either the standard height or Sendak and Throk in terms of size. 

The others I used for comparison are Kolivan, masked blade members, and other generals. Throk was on the same height as the one with a beard and the cyborg lizard that was in charge of the Olkari, so I assumed Throk’s buddy is again, below average height. 

With blade members I read most of them as female tbh, so they do vary. I wish the show was more consistent with height since some shots can get super wild. Haggar for example sometimes reaches Zarkon’s hip, sometimes his torso, and the Galra get inconsistent too. Let’s not even bring up the posters which confuse things even further.

@goodbyenorthernlights I’m more of an aunt theory type of person, but I do have a head canon that she and Zarkon did have a daughter before, but passed away during the war, and her daughter was a lot like Zarkon and very tomboyish, so she might see some of her traits in these ladies.

So I do love that dynamic even without conforming to Allura’s mother theory, but I could be dead wrong with that. Beautiful bara lady seems to be the oldest, I’d put her around early to mid 20s, while the others look to be Lotor’s age, 18-20. I really doubt any of them are closer to Coran or Kolivans ages, since they seem a bit rash from what little we saw of the trailer.

Oh no, us old crack shippers are trash, who would have thought! I one up you all so far in shipping Cogar -yes Cossack/Haggar- already without even knowing if he will show up. 

I’m gonna go with Horan, who were platonic but *something was there* and they made cute tutorial videos and he brought out her sillier side and when he sees Lotor he’d go “holy crap he looks just like her”. I’m seriously dying for them to officially see each other again with him being the cliche sappy “my god, you still look as beautiful as ever, and you’ve exceeded all of our expectations with your genius”. 

The ho ran tho, the ho ran and betrayed them all.
