UmmmâŠcan we talk about how large Kova is??? like the generals arenât short people and Narti is most certainly is around 6 ft. And KovaâŠreaches her ankles???
like Kova is probably the size of a lynx and bigger than any house cat like goddamn.
I feel like this misrepresents the relationship Lotor had with the generals? Like⊠you donât usually rank your friends and confidants in hierarchy of âbestâ to âI donât care for them.â
Lotor trusts Acxa quite a bit, which is a high compliment from someone whoâs nearly paranoid. After all, she was able to approach him with a gun in her hand right after he thought heâd been betrayed already by one of the other generals (Narti) and he completely didnât react. Before that, we see that she was able to change the settings on Lotorâs personal fighter, with him in it, without him doing anything to give her access in s3e3. And as you say, Acxaâs the leader of the generals.
I will agree that I think Lotor is fond of Zethrid, but I donât think thatâs a sudden shift that âwow, he actually likes Zethrid better than all of the others!â or that he uses his position to assert favoritism over the generals. Weâve never seen much evidence that any of them compete with each other- if anything, just about any time theyâre put under pressure their reflex is to hold closer together.
If Lotor was obviously favoring one of them over the others, that would either fuel that kind of competitiveness or it would weaken Lotorâs relationship with the generals.Â
Of course Lotorâs fond of Zethrid- why wouldnât he be? She tends to be incredibly belligerent and aggressive towards even the idea of someone messing with her friends, which, if youâre an anxious person with a lot of enemies, youâre going to be very pleased to have a protective friend.
My dude, Iâm the one who wrote the post and let me say this – youâre misrepresenting what I said. My original post was about which general Lotor was closest too, not which ones he liked and which ones he hated. He clearly gets along more with Zethrid and Narti and even Ezor over Acxa. And yeah, some people have favorite friends and friends that arenât that. (And believe me, that does exist, unfortunatelyâŠ).
Let me say this – just because you trust someone doesnât mean youâre friends. You make someone your top general and not be buddy buddy with them. It happens. Lotor gave Acxa her position as the leader of the generals cause sheâs the most focus and the one thatâll keep the others in place, not cause he liked her more. Lotorâs pragmatic, even if Acxaâs not his bestest friend, he knows he can count on her to complete a mission. He doesnât have to be real close to her to put her in that position..
And yeah Acxa was able to approach Lotor with a gun and he didnât expect her betrayal but itâs not every day that your most loyal soldier comes for you and shoots you from behind.
Acxaâs relationship with Lotor is purely professional. Thereâs never a moment in s3 where we get something equivalent of a friendship between Acxa and Lotor. Heâs only teased her (in front of the Puigian leader no less) and yelled at her for failing cause his order failed. thatâs not a good relationship, itâs pretty shitty if you asked me.
iâve seen a lot of the fandom act like acxa is his favourite! why do you think itâs zethrid? i have too bad a memory to make a judgement myself
Well if your to look at how comfortable and casual he is, youâd notice that with Zethrid in particular, he seems to enjoy her company the most. Granted, again as I said in the tags of the original post, the show did team Sincline dirty and a 13 episode (not even, they donât appear in all of em) season is not enough to gauge how close Lotor is to each individual general. But, considering the fact that the creators had meant to split up the team in s4, it means whatever happened in these 13 episodes is impression weâre to have about the closeness of each general to each other and to Lotor.
Anyways to order them Iâd say these are his favorites: 1. Zethrid
2. Narti
3. Ezor (not the strongest position, she could share her spot with Narti)
